Do you suffer from brain fog? It is time to return to India’s traditional diet plans. Learn the causes and remedies for mental fog Photo by Milada Viverova on Unsplash. I recently met my mother, an octogenarian who used to head a teacher’s education and training institution. Although she was known for being a sharp-minded professional, her memory problems have made her feel ill. She claimed that she had a healthy diet and was well-balanced in nutrition. My mom needs to be reminded that she will soon be 85 and that her memory is prone to failing. Her rant made me reflect on my own state of mind and that of my daughter. My daughter is 26 years old and I am 55. We were discussing the reasons we feel foggy and how to fix it. Brain fog is a problem that affects everyone, not just those in particular ages.
Today I wanted to talk about how our medical condition and diet plan affect our brains. My mother also told me that while people continue to pay for various diet plans to lose weight or fight lifestyle issues, they don’t think about the free traditional Indian diet plans which can help them in their quest for good health and weight loss.
She was correct in some ways. Are you inclined to agree with my mom? Are you experiencing brain fog too? Do you have any idea why your memory dullness is so frustrating?
What is brain fog?
Most people suffer from mental fog, also known as brain fog. The term mental fog, also known as brain fog, is a cloudy feeling in the head that causes forgetfulness and a lack of focus. It is common to forget the locations of important information and events in your life.
Brain fog can occur for many reasons, including stress, lack of sleep, and overwork. Brain fog can be frustrating. However, we must pay attention before it becomes a symptom or cause of other serious issues such as Alzheimer’s, memory loss, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. It can also negatively impact our quality-of-life. Click here to read the heartbreaking first-hand account from a son whose mother was suffering from Alzheimer’s.
What are the causes of brain fog?
Experts believe that brain fog, or mental fog, is caused by hormonal changes and inflammation. Brain fog can not only affect memory but also lead to other health conditions like obesity, diabetes and irregular periods. Brain fog is a result of modern-day lifestyles that many of us live. This is due to an imbalance of hormones. It can be exacerbated by stress at work or daily life, sleep deprivation and too much screen time.
Brain fog is caused by electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones, computers and other gadgets. Stress, which decreases blood flow to brain, causes mental fogginess and poor memory. Sleep deprivation and lack of exercise are the next two causes. Experts agree that the main reason for brain damage is lack of nutrition.
Brain fog symptoms
Brain fog can be easily identified by headaches, insomnia, trouble sleeping, fatigue, mood swings and low energy. It can also cause forgetfulness, mood swings and focus problems.
Can brain fog be treated
Although brain fog can be managed, it is important to conduct a lot more self-analysis. Lifestyle changes are a great way to help. These are some of the ways I’ve found to reduce brain fog or mental illness.
Professionals who can’t avoid mobiles and computers need to take breaks. Also, you should not be a slave to your phone 24/7. It is recommended that we get 6-8 hours sleep each night. Regular exercise is essential to avoid brain fog. To keep your oxygen flowing, you should get at least 30-40 minutes of exercise every day. Find fun ways to exercise like this.
We realized that when we try to lose weight, we reduce calories. Our nutrition is affected. My mother advises that you follow the traditional Indian diet and eat home-cooked meals. This is true because India has so many cuisines and all of them offer healthy nutrition. Localized meals are cheaper than custom diet plans. Simple dal, roti and rice are all you need to make a healthy, nutritious meal. It’s possible to make it yourself, but if you don’t want to cook for too long, we can help you.
Home-cooked meals, local cuisine. I have found that drinking large amounts of strong coffee has a negative impact on my health. Add supplements like omega 3, Ashwagandha and multivitamins to your diet.
Keep in mind that our brains and mental functions are affected by age. There are many ways to keep your brain functioning at its best. To age with healthy brain activity, pay attention to what you eat, how you exercise, and when you sleep.
