Do you remember the moment you took responsibility for your own health, fitness, and overall well-being? You won’t, I’m sure. What happens if you get stuck mid-way? You have to live up the decision you made to get fit. You must finish what you started. You made the call, and you can’t let it go.
There will be times when it is hard to eat the same diet food every day. You may get bored with the same exercise routine. And you might even indulge in a few extra desserts, later on cursing yourself for doing so. You need to realize that it’s okay to indulge in this behavior and it’s normal. It is not worth beating yourself up if you’ve done something you don’t want to do. It is okay to indulge in your desires once in a while, because you only get one chance to live this life.
Do not put pressure on yourself to lose weight. It is okay to make minor adjustments in your routine every once in awhile. Flexibility in your workouts will help you be more focused and will increase your motivation to succeed in your fitness goals.
Do what you started
You are now feeling relieved that someone understands you. There will always be reasons to eat less and not work out. You may be surprised at the excuses that you come up with. But no! But no!
It is time to stop wasting your time and go for it. Get up and get in your workout mode. You will find that what seems so difficult today is actually quite easy tomorrow. Yes, it is true. You don’t have to lose the motivation and hope that got you started. You were a winner when it came to getting rid of the extra weight on your feet. You can’t let anyone stop you from starting your journey.
You have the power
Your ability to keep going depends entirely on you. You only know what you want in your life, and it is only you that can change it. Your fitness journey should be focused on you. You should only do it for yourself and not for anyone else. You will find that you can appreciate the beauty and strength of your mind, and your body’s ability to endure it for your joy and happiness in fitness and good health.
